Thanks to my pal Stephen Young for alerting me to this collection of long lost Seraphs Coal music. Seraphs Coal were a melodic punk band from the great country of Australia. They existed from the mid-90’s until the mid 00’s. They released 3 albums that are available right here, the finest being “The More Things Change” (2002). You can listen to all these awesome releases below and purchase them for a reasonable price via bandcamp.
Check out John Calvin and the rest of his punk rock pals in The Calvinists, perform the new song “Limited Atonement” in the form of a lyric video below. The song (along with a few others) are now available on digital networks for purchase. Oh and I heard a former member of punk band Ghoti Hook is involved in this project.
Altar Boys now classic album, “Gut Level Music”, will be re-released by Girder Music in early 2015. The Mike Stand led rock/punk band released several classic albums throughout the 80’s including “The Altar Boys”, “When You’re a Rebel”, “Gut Level Music”, “Against the Grain”, and “Forever Mercy”, before calling it quits. We are in the final stretch for the Craig’s Brother Kickstarter campaign to fund their new Ep/7″ Vinyl called “The Story of How We All Die”. As of this posting, there are just 15 hours remaining in this campaign with $3369 pledged of the total $8525 (at present time). If you enjoy quality punk rock with catchy melodies and lyrics that’ll leave you singin’ for days, then definitely consider joining with fellow fans around the globe to make this dream a reality. False Idle frontman/guitarist, Sef Idle, goes “Solo” and in the acoustic-punk territory on his debut ep, “Start Again“. If you dig the sounds of Tony Sly, Joey Cape, Frank Turner, or any number of punk rock singers that explore their more “softer” side mixed with heart on the sleeve emotion. This is turning out to be a personal favorite of mine (BrandonIVM) and I encourage you all to check it out this week.

True Liberty announces the release of their fifth album “Give Me True Liberty or Give Me Death,” for release on May 21, 2014. The new album includes three new original studio recordings plus 16 greatest hits recorded live. Firmly committed to living their beliefs, this album documents the band in all of its spiritual passion and fury. The live portion of the album was recorded at Destination Central, on February 10, 2013, in Colonial Heights, Virginia, several months prior to Aaron Liberty’s departure with his family for full-time missionary service to the people of central Costa Rica.
