For King & Country Release New Album and Music Video

Today is release day for the long awaited new album from For King & Country. The band have just dropped their music video for the title track “Burn The Ships” which is literally about leaving the past behind and stepping into a new day. The song is inspired by those that battle with addictions and breaking free from the past to move on and find hope. This powerful album is proof that it doesn’t matter what style of music you cling to or scene you’re in. If you find that emotional and spiritual connection to a particular album, in this case “Burn the Ships”, then embrace and leave your cynicism at the door. Leading up to the release I’ve been listening to each single and getting my kids to listen. As a family, we’ve found great joy in these songs and they are leading the next young generation of music fan to reach forward through Faith and Art. Watch the video below and go purchase/stream this album wherever you get your music.

If you didn’t catch the firestorm of controversy yesterday regarding the new album cover by Emery for their new release “EVE” then you might just have been living under a rock. Remedy Drive - Warlike (Official Music Video)

So this video was released back in January of this year along with their new album “The North Star” and I must say that it is a heavy hitter. I can’t believe I overlooked this release and didn’t give it proper promotion right here on IVM. Remedy Drive have created music that is deep and rich in content, overflowing with complex symbolism and a certain sense of urgency. You don’t come across music like this in Christian music scene all that often and I really enjoy this track as well as the album. For those looking for comparisons I would say I hear a bit of Switchfoot mixed with Jack White, Needtobreathe, The Black Keys, House of Heroes, and even a little Twenty One Pilots. Check out the video for “Warlike” below and purchase through all your favorite digital networks, streaming sites, or on CD from the band direct right here. They also have some items in their online store made by survivors of trafficking “T-shirts, bracelets, necklaces, elephants, boho pants and other items are handmade by survivors of trafficking and help fund organizations helping to rehabilitate and restore women who have been exploited”.

For King & Country - Amen (Official Music Video)

For King & Country have gotten quite creative, with an artistic attempt at creating an engaging music video. It feels as though each one of their new music videos comes across as a sort of mini-movie. It’s quite an impressive undertaking and shows a group with talent that many others lack in their presentations. I think these guys are going to really impact listeners with this new album and if these new songs are any indication of the direction of this new album, count me as number one fan. This album and the new one from Lauren Daigle are highly anticipated new releases for myself. Check out the new music video for the song “Amen” off their forthcoming album – “Burn The Ships”. Pre-order on physical media including vinyl right here.

Lauren Daigle - Still Rolling Stones (New Song)

Lauren Daigle is on fire with these new songs off her forthcoming new album “Look Up Child” which is out September 7th. This new song “Still Rolling Stones” can be heard below. Lauren’s voice has never been stronger than it is now and this strength is clearly evident on “Still Rolling Stones”. This song truly captures her talent and showcases an artist on the rise. There is just something entirely unique and original with her new songs. Her voice captures the heart of the song and proves that “worship” doesn’t have to be a mundane, stale, and overrated “Christian” term. Maybe I’m crazy but I swear this new album is going to be one of the biggest things of 2018.

For King & Country - God Only Knows (Official Music Video)

For King & Country have just dropped another music video off their upcoming new full length album “Burn The Ships”. The emotionally charged new track “God Only Knows” connects with the listener in more ways than one. It is a beautiful song with a much deeper message. It balances words of hope and peace in the storm of doubt and pain with an underlying message of mental health awareness. Maybe I’m wrong but I haven’t seen this issue done with this caliber of quality in quite some time. Check out the video below and remember that there are always arms to catch you when you are at your worst and most desperate. There are those out there (including Christians) suffering the same afflictions, including myself.
