Names Without Numbers Release "Goodnight" Everywhere Today!

Names Without Numbers is a four-piece rock and roll band from Omaha, NE / Council Bluffs, IA. Since forming in the summer of 2000, they’ve released an EP and a full-length album, toured the midwest, played in venues ranging from basements to festivals, slept on floors, fought…a lot, took a break, started families, came out of retirement, and are now writing and recording songs for an upcoming album. Stylistically, they play a unique blend of indie-rock with plenty of raw emotion and pop-punk energy. Some bands with a comparable style include Jimmy Eat World, Tiny Moving Parts, Moving Mountains, Anberlin, Sparta, Thrice and many others. Don’t miss out on this unique and incredible entertaining new song. “Goodnight” is available on all Digital networks beginning today plus the band is launching their very own IndieGoGo campaign. All contributors to the campaign will receive another track and further reason that this band is one you don’t want to miss out on.

Adelaide - UNFORSAKEN

New singer by the name of “Adelaide” has just released her new single titled “UNFORSAKEN” and it is an uplifting, spiritual awakening set to pop rock music. Adelaide has a strong, commanding voice perfect for this style of music. I know there have been two other artists by the name of “Adelaide” that we have covered since the zine launched in 2005 but this is totally different and quite well done. Recommended for fans of: Evanescence, Fireflight, LEDGER, and Lauren Daigle.

DENS Sign With Facedown Records and Will Release New Ep June 29th

Something I’ve kept under wraps for a few weeks and a piece of news that I am truly excited about. The East Coast band – DENS, have indeed signed with California based record label Facedown Records and will release “No Small Tempest” Ep on June 29th. You can take a listen to the powerful new song titled “Deadrise” below. All you fans of Saosin, Thrice, My Epic, Attalus, and Armor For Sleep, will absolutely adore this new music. Facedown Records taking a chance on the more “rock” oriented bands like My Epic, Everything in Slow Motion, Attalus, and now DENS, is the best move they’ve ever made. I really enjoy their whole roster but the bands above have all made truly remarkable albums. Everyone go like DENS and give this new song a listen. Oh and you can pre-order this Ep in a few different bundle options right here.

Miqedem Release New Album "Vol. 2"

The uniquely individual Israeli music group known as Miqedem are back with their second full length effort of original songs composed entirely in Hebrew and centered around sacred biblical text. Ethan Luck Launches New Campaign for Ska / Reggae Album

Ethan Luck is a veteran. This seasoned musician and songwriter has been playing on albums for more pretty much all of his entire adult life. He has worked with nearly everyone from Pax (before the ‘217’), Project 86, The Dingees, Value Pac, OC Supertones, Demon Hunter, Relient K, recently as touring musician with Kings of Leon and of course his solo work. This new album will continue some of the more “punk” aspects of his last few solo releases and aim the focus directly at Ska and Reggae sounds, incorporating them in his punk rock aesthetic. If you enjoyed his work in the past and are hungry for the next wave of ska to hit, then definitely check out his campaign right here and join with the many others supporting this true comeback in the making. From the sounds of this first demo I can already tell that the album is going to be an enormous hit and reach both new and old fans alike. With this current interest in revitalizing the “ska” scene from people like those hosting the Back To The Beach Ska Fest (this weekend) and SuperNova International Ska Festival, to those putting together a documentary on 90’s ska, all those classic bands making a comeback like Save Ferris, and the next generation of bands like Must Build Jacuzzi, the scene is ripe for the next wave!

Names Without Numbers Join Indie Vision Music

News that has been a long time coming and something I am over the moon excited about. The Omaha, Nebraska based indie/emo band Names Without Numbers, have indeed signed with Indie Vision Music. I will be working with the band to promote their new upcoming music including a special single that goes live on May 21st. I have a special connection to this band and followed them for several years during the last decade until they broke up. I actually put the band on a compilation I produced called “I’m Your Biggest Fan Vol. 2” back in 2002 on Tooth & Nail Records. I loved their music and their song “Waking From The Coma” is perfect early 00’s independent rock n’ roll with that perfect balance of post-hardcore and emo ambiance. These guys came to an end during the mid part of last decade but reunited a year ago and have been playing shows again plus recording NEW music. Watch the video below and get a piece of the story in a fun behind the scenes look from Dave. Their new music rules and you’re all going to love it. It’s a departure from the pop-punk you think we may be defined by but in actuality IVM seeks to expose listeners to a broad spectrum of music styles. Welcome NWN to the family and prepare to be thrilled with independent music that doesn’t suck. Stay tuned to their page and ours for a new video each week leading up to the release of the song(s).
