Names Without Numbers - The Apathy Anthem

In case you missed it last month, I had Drew from Rival Consultants create a lyric video for the new Names Without Numbers song “The Apathy Anthem”. It came out pretty cool I think and if you give it a chance, I am sure you’ll enjoy it too. Names Without Numbers are an alt-emo-rock band from Nebraska who recently reunited after an almost decade long absence. Their music would please fans of Jimmy Eat World, Anberlin, The Classic Crime, Taking Back Sunday, House Of Heroes, Acceptance, and Thrice. Lyric video can be found below. Follow the band on Facebook / Instagram / Website.

Silent Planet - Northern Fires (Guernica)

Silent Planet will release their new album “When The End Began” soon and in celebration (excuse the lateness of this post) they have released a new song titled “Northern Fires (Guernica)” In regard to the lateness of this post, I just plain forgot to post about it in all the craziness of the past few months. In the meantime the band has been working on new music and another new song will be posted by tomorrow? So if you happen to see two new posts about Silent Planet on IVM in the next day or so, that is why. View the lyric video for this song below and click the YouTube link in the video to read more about the background of the song and lyrics. Catch the band on tour with My Epic, Comrades, and Tigerwine, now. Enjoy!

DENS Sign With Facedown Records and Will Release New Ep June 29th

Something I’ve kept under wraps for a few weeks and a piece of news that I am truly excited about. The East Coast band – DENS, have indeed signed with California based record label Facedown Records and will release “No Small Tempest” Ep on June 29th. You can take a listen to the powerful new song titled “Deadrise” below. All you fans of Saosin, Thrice, My Epic, Attalus, and Armor For Sleep, will absolutely adore this new music. Facedown Records taking a chance on the more “rock” oriented bands like My Epic, Everything in Slow Motion, Attalus, and now DENS, is the best move they’ve ever made. I really enjoy their whole roster but the bands above have all made truly remarkable albums. Everyone go like DENS and give this new song a listen. Oh and you can pre-order this Ep in a few different bundle options right here.

Grave Robber - Zombieland (Official Lyric Video)

Those insane horror-punks in Grave Robber are back and with a brand new album, “Escaping The Grave”. Check out this really cool lyric video for the song “Zombieland”, below. “We are extremely excited to unleash this tale of terror on an unsuspecting world. It’s been seven years since our last offering of horror and now we are finally seeing Escaping The Grave come to fruition. We sincerely hope that the new record is one that encourages, uplifts, entertains and maybe send shivers down your spine. More importantly. . . may The Reanimator be glorified!” -Wretched Graverobber. For fans of: The Misfits, Alice Cooper, Ramones

Ben Knight - The Lighter Side of The Dark Knight

Check out this fun lyric video by the comical and incredibly catchy indie-hip hop artist, Ben Knight, below. The song is titled “The Lighter Side Of The Dark Knight” and I think you’ll pick up on the content once you give it a listen and read the lyrics. The music of Ben Knight can best be described as some insane explosion between the music of Will Smith, Weird Al, and Furthermore, while offering a glimpse into the mind of a modern hip hop jokester. It’s a fun, comical, and witty take on modern rap with sounds/beats that will get you humming along for days. Ben’s new album “Myld Stallyn” is out this Friday right here on bandcamp.
