That Lightworker album is awesome! I haven’t got to dig into it to deep yet but looking forward to spending more time with it.
Also, If you like metal music I would highly recommend checking out the new album by In Vain- Solemn. It’s one of my favorite metal albums ever. Check it out if you like crushing, beautiful, soaring, melodic, epic metal.

I have two of their albums, but I wasn’t sure if there was any connection to Christianity or not.

I’m not sure either. Listen to the last song off the new album: Watch for me on the mountain- there is something about that song that awakens worship in me

Lyrics to the last song: A promising season  Laid to dust by the hands of man Hope for better future That would bring life to a barren land All came to an end  So many good people gone now Swept away like leaves in the wind So many never saw a new dawn Fates torn apart by a life of sin Their dreams were not meant to be When the heavens are calling my name Watch for me on the mountain And when the creator has broken the chains Watch for me on the mountain  As the rivers of times… Read more »

I only have their first two. I only discovered them recently when I bought a huge box of mostly Christian metal CDs via eBay.

According to an interview from HM magazine in 2020 with vocalist Joe Calderon, he is the only one in the band who is a Christian so the lyrics come from that perspective. Interview here: https://hmmagazine.com/feature/lightworker/

Thanks for this. To clarify, my comment was in regard to In Vain, which dcg had recommended. 🙂

Oh gotcha. I did also look into In Vain and what I found is pretty similar to Lightworker. Half of In Vain are Christians. These are the ones who primarily write the lyrics so their faith comes through, however they prefer to not be labeled a “Christian” band. They are still ok though with playing Christian festivals and being played on Christian stations.
