We As Human posted a new update yesterday informing fans that Stephen Christian (formerly of Anberlin) is helping write new music with the band. Be on the lookout for more updates from WAH soon. Christian has been helping several bands with cowrites/vocals recently including Jule Vera, Fireflight, and Schematic. He is also currently working on his first solo worship record.
Fireflight is streaming their new album Innova exclusively on New Release Tuesday. The album will be available for purchase on May 4th. Fireflight & Seventh Day Slumber are set to co-headline the fifth annual “Small Town America Tour 2015” along with Shonlock & Scarlet White. The tour will run Aug. 19-Nov. 22 with stops to be announced at a later date. The tour purposes to put on concerts in smaller towns which are normally passed over by big tours.
Facedown Records have signed Attalus and will release the band’s 16-song concept album, Into The Sea, on June 2nd. Lead vocalist of the pop-rock band Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash, is looking to release a new solo album. She previously has put out other solo work, but this will be her first “country” album. You can keep track of the progress on her website.
As for Sixpence None the Richer, they have been on the quieter front since their heavily-delayed album Lost in Translation in 2012.
Spoken are currently recording their new album in Phoenix, AZ. Drums on the 12 tracks have been finished and guitars are up next. Stay tuned to the band’s social media for updates.

Check out the debut music video from Little Blue Light! They’re an up-and-coming band from the UK, and they play a fun and eclectic mix of Ska, Swing, Folk, Rock, Reggae, and Ragtime! It appears that they don’t have an official release out yet, but the word is that they’re going to be heading into the studio to record their debut album in the near future!
