We missed posting about this the other day but apparently Solid State Records put up the As Cities Burn album “Son I Loved You at Your Darkest” on Vinyl and it sold out in hours. Hopefully they’ll put up more copies soon. In other news, Tooth & Nail has put up Mxpx “Pokinatcha” on Vinyl (for the first time) right here.
As Cities Burn are playing two more shows of “Son I Loved You At Your Darkest” in their entirety, April 13th Nashville, TN. and April 14th Baton Rouge, LA. Flyer can be seen below. Tickets on sale February 14th and Support TBA. [Thanks Boaz]

Hawkboy will be putting up their new song “Rapture” on Facebook this Friday. Get ready. Also, are there really people out there that believe the rapture is taking place on May 21st? That’s messed up.
According to Hawkboy’s (Ex-As Cities Burn) facebook page, the band plans to record an ep in May and release it digitally the same month. Then the band plans to hit the west coast on a tour this summer.
This is one of the most original sounding bands I’ve come across in the past few months. They are called Dime Store Heist and they’re from Charleston, WV. They have horns, they play alternative rock, you make up your mind what kind of band they are. This is what their myspace says:
RadRockers has a bunch of cheap cds right now. You can get “Come Now Sleep” by As Cities Burn for $4.00, Chariot “Unsung” for $3, Beloved “Running” for $3, plus other cheap ones by Corey Crowder, Craigs Brother, Dead Poetic, Famine, Trenches, Dakota Motor Co., Discover America, Dogwood, Echoing Green, Ghoti Hook, Further Seems Forever, He Is Legend, Embodyment, EDL, and tons more below $5. Order here. I believe these are fully packaged CDs in new condition.
From the ashes of As Cities Burn comes a new band called “Hawkboy” which features Cody and Aaron formerly of As Cities Burn. So far, the only information on this project is from a myspace bulletin which you can read below. I’ve searched for Facebook/Myspace/Twitter pages, but nothing is up yet for this new project. Stay tuned. [Thanks Adam, Tim, and Tyler for the news]
