I don’t begin to have the time to listen to all three of these right now, but I just listened to the first song to see if it’s something I want to check out soon and it sounds so good. Loving these unexpected indie releases.
It’s Gui Brazil, not Guy Brazil.
I came across this free download yesterday from Fixed Til Tuesday. They had a song on IVM’s Heart’s Bleed Passion Vol. 2:

I also discovered some old post hardcore spanish artists recently. You can check out all at my bandcamp page.
Dang. That Little Image album is stellar. I could almost see it fitting somewhere in From Indian Lakes’ earlier discography it’s so similar, but it has enough unique touches to set itself apart. And if sounding like From Indian Lakes is the worst thing I can say about it, I obviously love it. Hahaha.
That was definitely one of the main things I noticed when I listened, too. His voice is so similar, though I think there’s enough instrumental variety to make it distinct.
Stavesacre’s back! The band released ‘MMXCV’ exclusively to their crowd-funders on Friday, with pre-orders for everyone else going live this next Tues Aug 15!

And it’s AMAZING! Like the perfect continuation of “How To Live With A Curse” and “Speakeasy” I even hear some influences from their 1st two records. I can’t think of another band that could have made a more “perfect” album. Musicianship and production is spot on
