Audiofeed Festival 2022

Audiofeed Festival returns this year (in just a couple of weeks actually) and I’m here to fill you in on all the great music and community you will experience. Audiofeed Festival has come to fill the void that Cornerstone left when it ceased to exist a decade ago. The creators of Audiofeed took a stand, brought along some experience and a diverse taste for remarkable independent music and further seek to share that undeniable influence with a new generation of music goers.… Continued →

REVIEW : Nate Parrish - Soul Surgery

Nate Parrish creates music unlike the majority of “popular”, “mainstream”, “indie”, and/or “punk” bands of today. He takes his years of experiences, wraps them up in a 14 song epic arrangement, and unleashes it on a weary music scene ripe for hope and change. From the artwork to the song choices, you can’t help but feel the music running through your body and infecting you with nothing but pure positivity. I liken the music of Nate Parrish to music of yesteryear that spoke truth without boundaries and shared honesty in ways most of the modern day brethren are too afraid to venture out into.… Continued →

REVIEW : Light The Way - Long Story Short

Light The Way began in 2016 and started off releasing their fantastic debut ep, “Grace”. They followed that up in the following 3 years with – “Dude, Lame” (EP) in 2017, “False Memory Syndrome” in 2018, and “Dad Gang” (EP) in 2019. I’m proud to say I had the most excellent opportunity to be involved in the album release process for all of those releases. I will forever be grateful for the chance to live out my dreams releasing positive, faith-centered, pop-punk music with a strong message about hope, love, grace, and peppered generously with fun and witty lyrics.… Continued →

Sef Idle Releases "Retrogradation" Punk Rock Ep

Sef Idle recently dropped a new EP called “Retrogradation” which is definitely a “Plugged In” punk rock collection of songs. There is a fair mix of previous acoustic jams from his past material amped up and explored in a more punk rock direction. This is a really great collection of songs. Take a listen to the 4 song ep below via Bandcamp, Spotify or I also included a youtube clip of “Bindsided” which is one of my favorites.… Continued →

Small Wars Lights a Fire to Punk Rock in 2021

The independent punk band, Small Wars, are like the little engine that could. The band are teasing new songs and dropped a teaser of which you can listen to below (via Facebook/Instagram). Song of the Day: Fanmail - I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

Another Song of The Day from the great Happy Christmas series of the late 90’s. The first 3 Volumes still remain some of my favorite “Christmas” collections of songs, by far. My song of the day, which is the 2nd today, Christmas Eve. Fanmail came out swinging with a punk rock classic done with their (now) classic sound. Scott Silletta (Ex-Plankeye) was always in his best element by showing a bit of edge behind the guitar and mic.… Continued →
