Check out this most recent song titled “Adventure Time”. It is extremely heavy and sure to get heads banging, and skulls cracking. Check it out below. Song of the Day: God - Revelation

Is it a bit pompous to call your band “God”? Maybe. But what’s particularly interesting about this band is we know nothing about them. Band members are completely anonymous. Is it even a band, or a solo project? Where are they from? No idea. Because the project is completely designed to “Challenge you to consider Him as well as your life & death through the power of music,” they figured the best way to do that was anonymously.… Continued →

REVIEW : War of Ages - Void

Two thousand and nineteen has proven to be quite the year. One day, a bunch of rowdy hooligans on Facebook are planning how best to invade Area 51, and the next, there’s a War of Ages occurring on planet Djent. Void places an emphasis on groove, which is kicked into full gear by track three, “Blood of the Earth.” That being said, the more conservative fans need not fret; War of Ages are still our metalcore heroes from Mars.… Continued →

REVIEW : God - God II: Jesus Christ - The Origin, The Life, Death & Resurrection Of Jesus Christ

This mysterious band has been making music since 2016.  Their website states, “GOD will challenge you to consider your life, death through the power of music.”  While I am in contact with the band members, repeated requests for information regarding the member(s) have been unsuccessful—even to the point of denying my request to know which country the band is from. This is the second album from the band, and there are two more planned—each one with a conceptual theme. … Continued →

Heliocentric releases "Moonshine"

A great independent Ambient metalcore act known as Heliocentric has released their debut song, titled “Moonshine”. The song is musically amazing and brings me to think of bands like What We Do in Secret and Wage War. The uncleans are very hardcore style, while the cleans seem like a power metal vocalist. The band is a one man project run by Jared Smith. This song is great, check it out below and go follow Heliocentric, or go buy it at Bandcamp!… Continued →

Bloodline Severed Releases New Single

Djent/Melodic Death Metal act Bloodline Severed released their first single, “Fire”, off of the long awaited album. The band began in 1998 as Markd, before switching names in 2003 to Bloodline Severed. Though the band has been signed to labels such as Red Cord and Bombworks, they are currently independent. The band worked with former guitarist Derek Corzine (ex-Aletheian, ex-Whisper from Heaven, Blood Thirsty) for the production and recording of the track, and I believe, the whole album.… Continued →
