Metaphysical Monday: "Undeceived" Beauty
Ok, it’s time for another series, don’t you think? This article is the first in a series of what I would call “Classic Christian Albums with an Incredible Message.”
First up in this series is an album that for a long time I considered to be the best Christian metal album of all time. Heck, I kinda still feel that way. And that album is “Undeceived” by Extol. INTERVIEW : Heath McNease
I recently got to sit down with Heath McNease (and by sit down, of course, I mean e-mailed) and talk to him about the life and times of a man who never sleeps. With more albums out in the last year than many artists have in their entire careers, I wanted to find out just what makes the man tick, what inspired an entire 8-bit Nintendo themed album, and why it’s hard for indie artists trying to make a buck in today’s world.

I first got into this band in 1994 with their Pokinatcha album after some random dude recommend that I check out the cd at a Christian bookstore when I was in high school. I have followed them through each subsequent release over the years and have seen them multiple times live.… Continued →
