Vision of God Records have a new band on the ever growing roster. The band goes by the name Prayer, not to be confused with the band Orationem, which means prayer in Latin. Prayer is a metal/hardcore band from Brazil. The band formed in June 1999, and have been at it ever since. In 2002, they released a demo, in 2006, an EP called Show Me the Way, and an album in 2009 titled Anatomy of Reality. Thrice did an interview back in July with OC Weekly about the recent reunion, the tour they’d been on, and new music they are working on. According to the article, the band have been writing new songs on this most recent outing with Rise Against and Deftones.
