Deepspace5 representative, Sivion, will be releasing Dark Side of the Cocoon on October 6 via Illect Recordings. Known for his tasteful blend of jazz and hip-hop, the Dallas emcee has teamed up with producer Sebastian Hochstein of Scribbling Idiots. Instrumentals are included with the album and a few of the songs can be streamed on bandcamp. Pre-orders can be found on the same page and are available for digital, CD, and vinyl.

Love it. Never heard of Sivion before, really digging those already released tracks though.
He’s got a unique style, that’s for sure! I still have yet to hear an MC quite like Sivion. The DS5 posse cut “Down But Never Out” from his 2005 album is really cool.
