Love & Death, the nu-metal band, have finally started working on new music. And just as I discovered that J.R. Bareis has left Islander, alongside the other two non-original members of Islander, they have begun guitar tracking with ex-Red, current Breaking Benjamin guitarist Jasen Rauch. The band currently consists of Brian Welch on vocals, J.R. on guitars and Dan Johnson on drums. Bassist Michael Valentine departed last year, without any official reason. Bareis and Rauch have begun recording guitars for the album. … Continued →

His “blue collar” approach to music (as notated in all his albums) has resulted in a prolific 23-year run in the music industry.
