With the business of the past few weeks, I forgot to mention that one of our bands GRANDPA LOVES RHINOS, launched an awesome new merch store on StoreFrontier. They are selling all their own Ts, hoodies, and more with really great designs. If you would like to support the band direct, please buy from them at this link here. Death Therapy Drops Two Insane New Singles

Death Therapy are gearing up to release their follow up (2nd) full length on Solid State Records titled “Voices” which will drop on April 12th. Check out the insanely good new single “Feels Like Fiction” (feat Garrett Russell of Silent Planet) and the song “My Defiance”, below. These two songs showcase a group on the verge of explosive success through their prog leaning metal whatever-you want-to-call-it, music. This is a definite leap over the previous full length (which is tough to do because it was nearly perfect) and further proof of Jason Wisdom’s (and band-mates) songwriting prowess.… Continued →

I think there are three different fans of My Epic, the ones who love the light stuff (Broken Voice), the heavy “Behold”, and the ones who appreciation EVERYTHING the band does.… Continued →

Sleeping Giant Farewell Documentary That You All Need to See

The Sleeping Giant documentary is equal parts joy and sadness. You feel uplifted by the band’s message and testimony but a bit of sadness overwhelms when the realization sets in that this is the band’s swan song. It’s a great piece of work and a fitting reminder of the power of heavy music on the masses. This band may not have been a worldwide mainstream success story like say Imagine Dragons or Cardi B (barf) but none of that mattered when you saw the band’s overall message of love and hope for a lost world.… Continued →

Who Is This God Person Anyway?

Lee Brown who was a writer and prominent member of the IVM family here (not to mention a Pastor), has written his second book and it is available via Amazon right here. The book is titled “Who Is This God Person Anyway?”. The forwards of this book were written by Leanor Ortega Till of Five Iron and Seth Hecox formerly of Becoming The Archetype. I think you’ll all find something of great depth here in this book and some challenging questions that are raised. The book is available both as a paperback and as a digital copy via Amazon here.… Continued →

Rawsrvnt - Get Away

Rawsrvnt just released a video for “Get Away,” an introspective song that focuses on being discontent with one’s immediate surroundings. The press release reads: The lyrics to “Get Away” find the singer (who is currently in the process of a divorce) speaking directly to his former spouse, his heavenly father, and himself. The words express disappointment, bewilderment, dependence, and still… hope. “It was important that my videographer Joel Davis (aka Geek formally of the group Surf Gvng) captured some smiles amidst the sadness,” Rawsrvnt said. “It’s been a difficult season for sure, but I know my Savior is still right by my side.”… Continued →
