Fit For A King has recorded a live set at the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA that they say is essentially the same set they would have been performing live had current events made touring impossible. Lo-fi indie rockers, hailing from Kansas, Jetenderpaul were delightfully weird. They simultaneously embodied the avant-garde and pop music, writing short, melodious ditties that would never be on radio even though they should be. I was a huge fan of Velvet Blue Music in the 90s and picked up this EP on a whim, and I wasn’t disappointed. Ted Bond (Lead Vocalist/Guitarist/songwriter for the band Craig’s Brother), his wife, and their children, have been displaced by the recent wildfires in Northern California and are unable to return home. They’ve had to evacuate and will not be allowed to return for some time. Basically they are homeless and just living day by day. CB guitarist and songwriter, Steven Neufeld, has started a Go Fund Me just to help Ted and Family get by during these difficult times.
