Medic Announces Their End...Or Have They?

Indie pop group Medic have announced they will be calling it quits. However, this all follows the group’s move to Nashville and the release of several singles (with hints at even more music). Other bands have made similar announcements before rebranding under a new name and optimists think there’s a chance that may be the case here. However, it’s still too early to tell. The new IVM “Family & Friends Sampler 1” is now available on CD and in my hands. This CD will begin shipping on Tuesday next week. Anyone that orders the CD via Bandcamp gets the digital albums version with purchase. $3 for CD + Digital or $2 for digital only. Featuring 20 bands as seen in picture below. Tons of great music. Mainframe Announce "Burn The Boats Ep"

I am proud to announce the next IVM release which will be a follow up EP from Mainframe titled “Burn The Boats”. This 6 track ep will feature some of that same feel from the Debut last summer and continue on the trend started with the recent “Undivided Devotion” but taken to a whole new level. New Kekal song for free download!

Experimental metal band Kekal have just released a new song for free download here Announcement of the track came via the band’s website: “Deeper Underground, Kekal’s upcoming 11th full-length album, follows pretty much the same release process as with the latest album “Multilateral” (2015), with majority of tracks to be released individually as they are ready, before the album release date in 2018. As of October 2017, five tracks are now available for digital download or streaming, fully-produced and mastered. A few artists/bands have hooked up with some marketing firms, more like infomercial style marketing if you are looking for a definition. Anyway, I have been blasted with these ads for whatever reason on Facebook due to my young teenage demographic that I so lovingly belong to. I’m almost 40 going on almost 20, am I right? Squad 5-0 Begin Working on New Comeback Album, Say What?

With all these new reunions fresh in our minds and the rivers of nostalgia running deep, it was only time before the mighty Squad 5-0 came back and dropped a new album on us. According to the band’s official Instagram page (sorry I’m not aware of any Facebook pages that are current), they may be working on a new album and teased with like 1 second guitar clip. His approach to songwriting is down-to-earth and honest, paired with subdued instrumentation. Vibrant strings accentuate the emotional experience, resulting in songs that certainly have a lot of radio potential but which manage to maintain artistic expression nonetheless.
