Song of the Day: Too Bad Eugene - Everybody's Gone

Today’s song is from none other than Too Bad Eugene. The Santa Cruz, CA. based pop-punk band was known as the offshoot of Craig’s Brother when Adam Nigh and Andy Snyder quit the band shortly after the release of “Homecoming” and went on to start a band of their own with a unique sound. This song “Everybody’s Gone” appears on the band’s debut in 2000, “At Any Rate”, and is an emotional one for me. It’s the ultimate song of nostalgic yearning and a look back at youth.… Continued →

Too Bad Eugene "At Any Rate" Gets the Vinyl Treatment

I’ve been waiting for this for over 20 years. The classic Too Bad Eugene album, “At Any Rate”, is getting the vinyl treatment by People of Punk Rock Records. Too Bad Eugene Joins People of Punk Rock Records

This legendary 3 piece punk rock band known the world over as TOO BAD EUGENE, have just joined up and coming label, People of Punk Rock Records. The Adam Nigh (Ex-Craig’s Brother, Thrush) led band first burst on the scene with their nationally released debut, “At Any Rate” which was produced by Mike Herrera of MxPx through his label, Rock City Recordings back in the year 2000. One of my favorite 00’s pop-punk/melodic punk acts – Too Bad Eugene, returns this year with new music. While we await such a magnificent return by Adam Nigh and company, the band has just put up the now classic year 2000 full length, “At Any Rate”, for download and streaming on all digital networks.
