Album Review :
Broken Curfew Records Sampler

If you’ve read a few of my other reviews, you probably already get the sense that I have some age on me. And that’s fine. I was around for record label samplers on compact disc. And what a glorious time it was.
There was nothing better than getting a free sampler with a mailorder or buying a sampler in the wild. Those days are long gone, or so I thought…
Broken Curfew Records have reinstated the CD Sampler and brought it to a new level.
This sampler features 20 of their artists and it has something for everybody.
It hasn’t left my car CD player since I got this from my favorite mailorder distro.
If you are a death metal ghoul, then you will love a huge portion of this sampler as the genre is repped by a few bands on here. King’s Hammer, Divine Incision, Glae, Come To Pass, Mangled Carpenter and Mohler will scratch that infected itch…
Pulpit Vomit is for the underground grind peeps. Fans of Pig Destroyer take note.
Hardcore and Metalcore kids will love Every Thought Captive and Sacrificial Betrayal.
Metalhead thrashers will love Shovelhead AD and Affront.
Cave Noire bring slimy metal and grimy punk together for a real underground blast.
But what about Industrial Music? Well, Broken Curfew has you covered with a few top tier Industrial bands like Godloop, and Brain Matter.
Other bands featured on this compilation are Poserectomy (deathcore/metalcore), Bridgeshadows (goth rock), Martyr (thrash metal), Mezzanine (alt metal), Seth Metoyer (post-grunge) and Dreams Over Texas (doom).
This is a fun sampler that showcases all that this label has to offer.
