Times of Grace start Recording for Sophomore album

Times of Grace, the metalcore side project of Killswitch Engage, have begun working on their sophomore album. Jesse Leach, the vocalist of the project, has begun demoing vocals out for their next endeavor. Many people thought of Killswitch Engage as a Christian act, which it is not, but if fans of that band are looking for a more faith centered project, Times of Grace is your band. Go check out “Strength In Numbers” and the rest of the previous album, released through Roadrunner Records. https://www.instagram.com/p/BWs1HoTADAQ/… Continued →

Love & Death recording for New Album

Love & Death, the nu-metal band, have finally started working on new music. And just as I discovered that J.R. Bareis has left Islander, alongside the other two non-original members of Islander, they have begun guitar tracking with ex-Red, current Breaking Benjamin guitarist Jasen Rauch. The band currently consists of Brian Welch on vocals, J.R. on guitars and Dan Johnson on drums. Bassist Michael Valentine departed last year, without any official reason. Bareis and Rauch have begun recording guitars for the album.

The O.C. Supertones Live Vol. 2 and Video

The O.C. Supertones are finishing up work on their final Live recording which will be called simply, “Live Vol. 2”. It was recorded and filmed at their final show on June 3rd 2017. Introducing: LOWERCASE committee

I want to encourage all of you to check out this new laid back indie rock/pop band called LOWERCASE committee. I’m loving their new song titled “I Know” that you can see the lyric video for below. The band was formerly known as Three Cord. You can also hear their beautiful take on the Coldplay song, “The Scientist” after the bump.… Continued →

Stephen Christian Releases New Song "Trust" As Part of Pre-Order

Stephen Christian (Ex-Anberlin) has released an epic new anthem titled “Trust” that is rich in texture and a sonic powerhouse. This new wave influenced pop worship song is sure to make a fan out of anyone who loves Stephen’s unique one of a kind voice and lyrical boldness. I’d much rather listen to this new “Wildfires” album than the majority of stuff on Christian radio (sorry Christian radio CCM fans). Before you throw out the “cheesy” remarks or hipster dissatisfaction just realize that Stephen along with Anberlin, paved the way for so many bands to pick up their guitars, bass, and drums.… Continued →

REVIEW : Propaganda - Crooked

Let me start off by admitting that I wasn’t exactly looking forward to this album. Now, that’s not to say I didn’t think I’d like it at all, because that’s certainly not the case. First of all, I’d describe myself as someone who enjoys the occasional Propaganda song, but like so many other artists, I simply have difficulty enjoying an entire album. Secondly, I was getting the impression through the song titles and reviews that Crooked was going to be political in its lyrics. As someone who only has a minor interest in politics, and some general disdain for the discussions and attitudes that seem to directly stem from political topics/activities, I was worried that some of the lyrics here might add to my frustration.… Continued →
