We all know how fond IVM is of pop-punk, so it’s my pleasure to introduce you to yet another fine pop-punk/alt-rock band: My Heart Lies. The band hails from Bowling Green, Kentucky and consists of Michael Nichols (vocals, guitar), Jared Rosdeutscher (lead guitar), and Douglas Hurt (drums). Fever Fever Return with New Single "Details"
It’s been awhile since we last heard from the alternative/atmospheric-rock band Fever Fever. Their last release was the 2016 acoustic EP, Native Color II, which you can download for free on NoiseTrade. It’s been even longer since their last full-length, Aftermath, which released 2014. Moda Spira Launches Campaign for New Album
Moda Spira, the electro-pop project of Latifah Alattas of Page CXVI, has launched a crowdfunding campaign for her new album, due this fall. 2016’s self-titled release saw a hazy mix of synths, passionate vocals, and diverse songwriting. The upcoming album chronicles the unexpected end of her marriage and her journey through pain. Subsequently, we can expect more serious subject matter, though the album (from the brief samples we’ve found) will carry much of the same electronic, pop, and orchestral mix seen on its predecessor.… Continued →
Check Out the Ethereal Sounds of Qajaq
Chicago-based indie/ambient rock project Qajaq will be performing at Audiofeed in just a few days – but even if you can’t make it out, their 2015 debut The Light of Everything certainly deserves a listen. The band melds post-rock subtleties with elements of folk and chamber pop. The band is preparing to release a new album, A Canopy Above Our Endless Sky.

Support Skip Brooks and His Family
Skip Brooks who is a long time member of our little music scene has unfortunately received devastating news, that he has stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma. On top of the cancer treatments, he is having to deal with heart related issues as well. A bright spot in this story is that the Doctors believe he can make a full recovery after the surgeries and cancer treatments. As you may know hospital visits, treatments, dr visits, surgeries, etc are not cheap in any way. Nomis‘ new album Rhodes to Rome released today, an eleven track project which blends contemplative lyrics with mellow hip-hop stylings.
