The hard rock rapper Manafest and the post-hardcore/metalcore band Famous Last Words have announced they are going on a East Coast tour together. The two are very different style wise: Manafest started as just a rapper, with a nu-metal tinge, and seems to be returning to his roots with his new single “Stones”. Sometimes it feels like an eternity passes between finding one new band and the next, but then again, that could also be because I can be a little picky about my music. In those rare instances when I DO manage to find a new band, I’m just happy or excited I found something new to add to my music library. The beloved thrash metal band, Tourniquet has been working on a new album for the last year or so, with only the lineup of founder Ted Kirkpatrick (drums) and longtime member Aaron Guerra (guitars). The band has been set to play Exodo Fest for awhile, it was just unknown about the lineup. Until recently. On March 4, 2017, the band announced they would be playing with Guitarist Jamey Henn, Bassist Andy Robbins (formerly of Holy Soldier), and Vocalist Jason Robison (Wrath of Typhon).
