The album served as the final studio album featuring Gene Eugene before he passed in year 2000. I’m still chugging away at selling my collection on Ebay. I’ve got so many CDs to list but I can only do so much each day. I recently added a few different lots/albums today including 2 rare lots of Quick and the Dead CDs and an Indie Vision Music 6 CD Super Lot. The prog metal act Mantric has announced they will be entering the studio in April. For those who don’t know who Mantric is, they are the members of the band known as Lengsel, formerly of Solid State Records. The band formed in 2007 in Oslo, Norway. The band has hosted all the members of Lengsel, David Husvik from Extol, and Anders Lidal of Benea Reach. Mantric is currently independent. The band released an EP and a full-length in 2015 and have released the vinyl for them in July last year.… Continued →

The post-hardcore legends that once was known as Frodus, have released the second pressing of their album, And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea on Clear Vinyl. The album is a limited edition. According to their Bandcamp page: Clear vinyl edition of Frodus “And We Washed Our Weapons In The Sea” + Bonus 7″. LP includes insert of candid Frodus images and hand-written lyrics. 7″ contains hand-written letter on cover art of post-breakup note from bassist Nathan Burke. The Christian black metal Cerimonial Sacred has released an EP titled Eternity Begins Tonight. The band has been around since 1998 but has only released a few songs. They released a full length in 2005, titled Our War Is Only Against Hell, a single in 2015 titled “The Man of Nazareth” and their sophomore album, Christ Worshipers in 2015. The band signed to Vision of God Records on December 23, 2016, and has now released their debut EP through there. Eternity Begins Tonight is two songs, being released both digitally and on 7″ vinyl.… Continued →

The reissue is limited to just 300 copies and is available for pre-order right here. The festivities of Five Iron Frenzy day (yesterday) has brought us news of the band’s now classic album “Upbeats and Beatdowns” getting the vinyl treatment. “Upbeats and Beatdowns” was this band’s eclectic debut record, released 20 years ago on 5 Minute Walk Records. This awesome vinyl pressing will be handled by SMLXL Vinyl and shipped out in March 2017. Pre-order now right here. Facedown Records has announced something incredible cool called “Facedown LTD.” which is a subscription based vinyl plan. There are 12 Vinyl Records available from Comeback Kid, xLookingForwardx, War of Ages (2), For Today, Gideon, Sleeping Giant, xDeathstarx, A Plea for Purging, Hands, xDisciplex AD, and Figure Four. Keep in mind that these are rare and limited to just 250 of each album. Some of these haven’t been pressed to vinyl before and the others will be rare collectors items in a few years.
