Best of 2017: Rob Jensen

2017 was a pretty decent year for music! Between finding newer bands, the resurgence of others from years of inaction, and great albums from bands we’ve come to love and depend on for great music, it was pretty tough to be disappointed. REVIEW : MyChildren MyBride - Vicious World

It’s been five years since metalcore giants MyChildren MyBride have released new music. The absence has been felt twice as hard with the hiatus of too many bands in the same genre. Down to just two band members, MCMB travels into uncharted territory with this long awaited album. The theme of the album becomes clear during the first song, and it’s dramatic and hard to relate to. MyChildren MyBride Releases "Thorns", Announce New Album "Vicious World"

MyChildren MyBride released “Thorns” today and announced their fourth new album, Vicious World. The band’s been working hard at it for the last three years, after losing Guitarist Cory Johnson (ex-Sleeping Giant, ex-xDeathstarx, ex-Impending Doom), Bassist Nelson Flores (ex-The Great Commision, ex-Sovereign Strength) and Drummer Mathis Arnell (The Plot in You). This leaves Founding member Vocalist Matthew Hastings and longtime member Guitarist Robert Flores.
