The 5 song ep featuring heart on the sleeve, thought provoking, indie rock inspired tunes meant to get your head spinning with those kind of sing-a-long songs. As you might have heard California has been struck by a series of destructive fires that have torn through towns with such force that people are left feeling broken. It’s terrible and unfortunately someone we have talked quite a bit about here on IVM, has lost his home and belongings as a result of these fires. Jeff Schneeweis, his wife, and 3 daughters made it out safely but their home, belongings including Jeff’s recording equipment and instruments, did not. Jeff was a founding member of the band Number One Gun, went on to produce a bunch of great band albums over the years and more recently began recording “solo” under the project name “Lael”.… Continued →

Haiva ru is a new indie rock band from Santa Barbara, CA featuring vocalist Allie Merrill. If that name sounds familiar it might be because of her work with Isla Vista Worship or her solo worship project under the name Allie Paige. And if it doesn’t sound familiar, you now have three artists to check out instead one. You’re welcome. The four-piece outfit released their first single “Work It on out” in the spring of 2017. The East Coast band – DENS, have indeed signed with California based record label Facedown Records and will release “No Small Tempest” Ep on June 29th. You can take a listen to the powerful new song titled “Deadrise” below. All you fans of Saosin, Thrice, My Epic, Attalus, and Armor For Sleep, will absolutely adore this new music.
