GFM - Framing My Perception (Official Music Video)

The ladies in GFM just dropped their music video for the electrifying new song, “Framing My Perception” of the EP of the same name which just dropped yesterday. I’ve listened to the whole EP and I am beyond impressed with it. They are a young group of musicians but listening the EP you certainly can’t tell. They’ve got the experience and music chops to back up the final product which is an awe inspiring collection of songs sure to impress everyone including those most hardened critics who just can’t seem to have any fun.… Continued →

REVIEW : Gold, Frankincense, & Myrrh - GFM Acoustic

It wasn’t long ago that GFM announced an acoustic ep, set for release on December 1st. With the release date being just about a week out, I thought I’d tap out a quick review on it. I was fortunate enough to have caught the band’s recent show at the Space Coast State Fair in Melbourne, FL. The show was great and sitting right there on the merch table were copies of the acoustic ep, available a few weeks ahead of the scheduled release date.… Continued →

New GFM Song and Video, "Give Me A Sign"

Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh are primed to release a new EP this Spring and we’ve already been given a taste  from their first single, “On the Inside“, but just this past week, we were treated to another track from the EP titled “Give Me A Sign”. This new track maintains their heavy sound, and is really driving and aggressive. The screams you might expect to hear are absent, but it by no means detracts from the track, it’s really quite great.… Continued →

Most Anticipated Releases of 2019: Rob Jensen

So, 2018 is behind us, another year on the books. After having put together a list of my favorite releases for the year, I decided to try going in the opposite direction and form a list of the albums I’m anticipating most in the coming year. Now, a bit of a heads up before we dig in; I am almost certainly missing some albums here. Some may have escaped my attention, and I’m sure there are more to be announced yet as well.… Continued →

New GFM Track, "On the Inside"

If you haven’t heard Gold, Frankincense, & Myrrh yet, you’re late to the party. GFM is a band of sisters from Jacksonville who’ve really made a nice mark on the Christian hard rock scene which the “Death of Giants” ep and “Identity Crisis” full length are clear cut evidence of. I’ve personally been pretty eager for some new material from the band, and yesterday I got my wish, as did all other GFM fans out there.… Continued →

Introducing: Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh (GFM)

I am always on the lookout for new bands to listen to. Sometimes it feels like an eternity passes between finding one new band and the next, but then again, that could also be because I can be a little picky about my music. In those rare instances when I DO manage to find a new band, I’m just happy or excited I found something new to add to my music library. Still, there are those even rarer instances yet, where I’m every bit as eager and excited to let others know about these bands as well because I think they’ve really got something special and I’m eager to see how God uses them in the future.… Continued →
