Emery Finish Album and Announce Tour Dates

According to a post on their Instagram account, Emery have finished recording their album and have sent it off for mixing. The band have announced some live dates this month with Comrades and Rough Start. Then the band will be playing some shows with LIMBS and Oh, Sleeper as well. View all the tour dates below. Facedown Records Announces Facedown Fest 2017 Lineup

Facedown Records has just announced the lineup for Facedown Fest 2017. The festival has hosted many bands that were signed to other labels or the subsidiary Strike First Records, including Clear Convictions (Strike First), Comrades (ex-Blood and Ink), Bloody Sunday (Strike First) and several others. This year is the 20th anniversary of the label so they have had many of their prominent acts come join in or even reunite. The Best of 2016: Rob Jensen

In 2016, I saw my tastes in music grow a bit more. This would account for why you’ll see some albums make an appearance on this list that, if you know me, you wouldn’t normally expect to see here. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good year for music, but a number of times some of the albums I was most excited about lost something after numerous listen throughs. Facedown Records Tease New Vinyl Pressings

Facedown Records are teasing or rather unveiling new vinyl pressings of some of their catalog of releases. The picture below appears to show quite a few vinyl releases with 3 revealed so far: Comeback Kid “Turn It Around”, xLookingForwardx “The Path We Tread”, and War of Ages “Arise & Conquer”. What will be next? Are you excited about these pressings? It’ll all be available on November 18th. Speaking of Facedown, what has been your favorite release this year from the label? INTERVIEW : Comrades

Blood And Ink Records have recently signed Virginia’s 3-piece post-hardcore group Comrades.  Blood & Ink have released a compilation of Comrades songs from between 2010-2011 titled “Collections: 2010-2011” that you can check out here. I recently completed an email interview with the band, so take a second and get to know Comrades:  
 First tell us a little background on the band, who you guys are, where  are you based out of, what style of music do you guys play?
We are based out of Richmond, VA, and all of us currently live either in, or close to the city.
