Anberlin which broke up in 2014, has stayed relatively busy behind the scenes with producing an incredible (that I wished I owned) Vinyl box set featuring all 7 full length releases along with a coffee table book. As was expected, the vinyl box set sold out a few months after going on sale, all 1000 copies sold out. Brian McSweeney, former lead vocalist and songwriter for the alternative band Seven Day Jesus, has released a new “solo” record titled “As The Bluebird” which you can find over on NoiseTrade below. This collection of songs borders on the experimental and yet entices you into a somber relaxation. A definite “kick-back and watch the winter weather roll in type of record”. After not updating their Facebook page for nearly four years, Kids in the Way (K I D S.) started posting again in April of this year. As it turns out, original members Dave Pelsue, Nathan Hughes, and Austin Cobb have reunited and will be releasing two EPs in 2017.
