Exclusive: Essentials - Relentless

We are excited to present a brand new track called “Relentless” from Essentials out of Winnipeg, MB, Canada. The song will appear on the band’s new EP, titled Trials, that will release on June 14th. The band combines “melodic guitar leads, hard hitting breakdowns, and gut punching drums” with upfront lyrics to create in-your-face hardcore. While some may find it underwhelming on first listen, repeated rotations reveal that Lyrical Theology Part Two: Doxology is risky but rewarding. Concentrating on songwriting over rhymes, though not always successfully, Linne’s hip hop prowess may be missed but the album has his fingerprints over every aspect of the music.

REVIEW : The Architect - The Benevolent EP

The Architect has only been around just over a year, and as such a young band it's unfair to expect them to have it all figured out. This EP is a realistic reflection of that idea, and even through loose songwriting and poor production it's plain to see that The Architect has a future.
