October Light Release "Till The End"
I just have to say it straight off the bat, this is one of the best ska/punk/rock albums I’ve heard in the past few years. There have been a lot of great ones but there is just something entirely unique that makes October Light deserving of such praise. They make tight, rhythmic ska music with stellar production and with clear, upfront vocals as a featured element. I want to thank the band for sending me the song files and you can all find the same release on digital networks now.… Continued →

Brinson Announces New Album
On Friday, April 26, Brinson will be releasing his new album Reversing Tomorrow. No stranger to the hip-hop scene, this will be his 9th solo project; his first album, Escaping Me, was released in 2008. The press release includes some more information about the sound and lyrics:
The song “Aqua Drip” taps into both the author’s affinity for comic book culture and the superhero mythology of the Marine Marvel. Its trap-heavy track blends an ocean’s worth of water references into a believer’s anthem about the confidence the Holy Spirit brings to one’s identity.… Continued →

The band has been quickly climbing rock charts all over the country and abroad with their infectious hard rock/alternative sound that can best be described as a cross between Incubus, Deftones, Disciple, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Dead Poetic, Funeral for a Friend, and just all around great sounding rock n’ roll. REVIEW : Death Therapy - "Voices"
Death Therapy appeared on the scene for many with their debut album, “The Storm Before the Calm”, in early 2017. An album that just dripped of a mix of industrial and metal, it was met with a positive response from both fans and critics alike. It elicited such a positive response in fact, that even at the time, it was hard to ignore that it set a pretty high bar for whatever might come next. Fast forward to March 2019, just a little over two years later, and we’re about to find out how the new album, “Voices”, one of the more anticipated releases of 2019, stacks up.… Continued →
REVIEW : Flactorophia - Redemption of the Flesh
Grindcore. You either love it or think it’s not music and wonder why it ever existed. There’s not a lot of in-between. It’s possibly the most extreme form of music that exists (it’s either that or some form of harsh noise). Flactorophia hail from Ecuador, have been around for quite a while. In fact, Redemption of the Flesh was originally released in 2006. The band released this one album and a few split releases, before its sole member, Jose Barragan tragically died in a fire at a local gig, along with several other members of other bands.… Continued →
