Beloved to Reunite?

By in News | 10 Comments

Around the interwebs there are rumblings of a reunion of sorts with the band Beloved. If you’re a member of either the Old School Tooth & Nail, Labeled Podcast Group, or a few others, you may have heard about this. Would this make your day or does it not really matter? I dug “The Running Ep” and especially “Failure On”. This is one of those bands that disappeared far too soon and could have been one of the bigger acts around had they kept it going. Either way, this is super exciting news for me.

Beloved reuniting would honestly make my year. Failure On is one of my all time favorite albums, and I felt they broke up far too soon. IMO, they had one of the best singing/screaming combos ever.

This band quit too soon. In my opinion, the album “Failure On” is one of the best post-hardcore album.

Dare I say it, I think I like “The Running” more than “Failure On.” It was just a little more raw and emo.

This would be such a surprise! I know they did numerous interviews where they made it sound like the band would never ever get back together. Something must have really gone south. But, I will say that I hope this doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing anymore Advent music soon.

Here and gone too soon.
Failure On is still one of my most played albums.
Their cover of Foo Fighters “Hero” is one of the best things ever.
PLEASE let this be true.

This is really exciting news. An innovative and inspiring band. They were also the first band (alongside Dead Poetic who were the next on stage) that I saw live over here in the UK. A life changing experience for me actually.
