Skip Brooks who is a long time member of our little music scene has unfortunately received devastating news, that he has stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma. On top of the cancer treatments, he is having to deal with heart related issues as well. A bright spot in this story is that the Doctors believe he can make a full recovery after the surgeries and cancer treatments. Haiva ru is a new indie rock band from Santa Barbara, CA featuring vocalist Allie Merrill.
