The Incomplete List of 2018's Rock Albums and EPs

Finding a rock album in 2018 feels like searching for a needle in a haystack of hip hop. That’s why I’ve done my best to collect all of the rock, alternative, indie, metal, and punk albums I’ve come across in 2018 into one list for you. It’s far from complete (especially when it comes to heavy albums) but hopefully you will be able to find at least a few albums and EPs you haven’t heard yet. Enjoy! (Oh, and feel free to contribute more to the list in the comments!)… Continued →

VEAUX Show Me the Way Home

"Show Me the Way Home" May Be Veaux's Best Work Yet

Earlier this week, we had a chance to talk with Nashville’s VEAUX about their new single and the stories behind it. Now you can listen to it yourself. There’s much to love on this track – there’s a certain degree of nostalgia at play musically, and the synth lines are refreshing warm for the cold fall many of us are experiencing. Thematically, the song serves as a reversal of “Wander”, where the protagonist who has ventured too far from home longs for what he once had.… Continued →
