7 Horns 7 Eyes Getting Back to Work

7 Horns 7 Eyes, the death metal band from Washington, has started to record again, after taking an unofficial hiatus. The band started in 2006 with two brothers, Aaron and Brandon Smith and their friend, Kyle Wood, whose brother, Ryan, joined the band and later Project 86. 7 Horns 7 Eyes started working on a new album after Ryan’s departure, with the lineup of the Smiths, Vocalist JJ Polachek, Guitarist Sean Alf, and, for this session, Unearth Drummer Nick Pierce. Tiger Drive (Ex OceanSpeak) Teases New Music

Tiger Drive, a Nashville progressive indie band featuring members of OceanSpeak, recently posted a video on Facebook from one of the group’s rehearsals. While the sound is definitely a departure from the groovy, post-hardcore elements that OceanSpeak showcased at times, there’s definitely plenty for old and new fans to enjoy. Circle of Dust Returns With New Album "Machines Of Our Disgrace"

Industrial music pioneer Klayton (Celldweller) is back with the project that put his name on the map, Circle of Dust. COD is releasing a new album titled “Machines Of Our Disgrace” on December 9th 2016. Rottweiler Records Taking Submissions for "Fleas Naughty Dog Vol.4"

Rottweiler Records is taking submissions for their annual Christmas comp, entitled an album “Fleas Naughty Dog Vol.4”. The label does this every year and even did one with Indie Vision Music awhile ago. The compilation has had a few submissions including, Leper, Wretched Graverobber, Grave Robber, Death Requisite, Peter 118, and Immortal Souls (go figure, what with their love of winter and snow. The Dawn Retreat Returns from the Dead

The Dawn Retreat, a punk/alternative metal band from the Quad Cities, has risen from the grave after five years of silence. Appropriately, they made their return at the Halloween-themed Whorror Fest on October 29. While their official reunion show isn’t until February, we can likely expect more from the band before then. Facedown Records are teasing or rather unveiling new vinyl pressings of some of their catalog of releases. The picture below appears to show quite a few vinyl releases with 3 revealed so far: Comeback Kid “Turn It Around”, xLookingForwardx “The Path We Tread”, and War of Ages “Arise & Conquer”. Aaron Strumpel Launches Campaign for New Album

Aaron Strumpel has announced his new album, Fresh Cut Flowers which will feature a mixture of redone hymns and a number of original songs inspired by those hymns. Check out the campaign here. Rewards range from standard items like CDs and shirts to having Aaron play trumpet on a song for you and a copy of a Christmas duo project, Heck Ya the Halls. Kids in the Way (K I D S.) Announce EP Release Dates

After not updating their Facebook page for nearly four years, Kids in the Way (K I D S.) started posting again in April of this year. As it turns out, original members Dave Pelsue, Nathan Hughes, and Austin Cobb have reunited and will be releasing two EPs in 2017. K I D S. announced on October 4th that the first EP will be released in March while the second will be released in October. The Hotshot Freight Train Release Final Album

I’ve got to report some sad news today that might bother a few of you, the band The Hotshot Freight Train are unfortunately calling it quits but they are going out with a BANG! That’s right, the band has recorded a 12 song final album and have released it today through all digital networks.
