The guys in this band contacted me to share their new music. At first I was a little hesitant probably due to the name itself but then I listened and was instantly blown away. The band UNSPOKEN are back with a new album titled “Reason” which will see release on June 21st. The band just released this great new music video that looks as professional as you can get in the realm of music videos and presents a really cool concept. Check out the music video below. One of the producers on the project (and a great graphic artist) is none other than Joshua Wurzelbacher who you might remember as the lead vocalist for IVM band, Josiah. I’m starting a new feature here at IVM that’ll focus on a beautiful, important, and defining song for a particular band. Let’s start this feature off right and put the focus on the music of Stavesacre, particularly the song “Gold & Silver”. I remember 20 years ago hearing this album (Speakeasy) which had this almost “ballad” like track named “Gold & Silver” then being struck in the heart heavily by it’s somber melodies, inspired lyrical delivery, and that unmistakable voice of Mark Salomon.
