David has announced an end to the much loved and adored Christian punk rock label, Thumper Punk Records. He started it as a music site in 2008 and we all watched it grow as a record label the past 10 years. Him and his label will be sorely missed but we commend him for wanting to devote more time to his family. It’s tough in this scene and I know exactly how he feel coming from my perspective. With my experience the past 18 years I can tell you honestly that I have thrown in the towel a few times, wanted to a few more times, and have been battling personal doubts about my work even more times.… Continued →

After returning a couple years back at Audiofeed Fest, newly reunited The Blamed is fast at work on their next release. Original members Bryan Gray and Jim Chaffin are back with with Sid Duffour, Jeff Locke, and new vocalist Glen “Wiley” Willis of October Bird of Death, and 2Minute Minor. The release seeks to bring together all the elements that you loved about the early Blamed tracks. Heavy, fast paced, and straight to the point. A more formal announcement is coming in the near future regarding this project featuring former members of Dogwood. I am proud to announce the next IVM release which will be a follow up EP from Mainframe titled “Burn The Boats”. With all these new reunions fresh in our minds and the rivers of nostalgia running deep, it was only time before the mighty Squad 5-0 came back and dropped a new album on us.
