Today is release day for the long awaited new album from For King & Country. The band have just dropped their music video for the title track “Burn The Ships” which is literally about leaving the past behind and stepping into a new day. The song is inspired by those that battle with addictions and breaking free from the past to move on and find hope. This powerful album is proof that it doesn’t matter what style of music you cling to or scene you’re in. If you find that emotional and spiritual connection to a particular album, in this case “Burn the Ships”, then embrace and leave your cynicism at the door. Leading up to the release I’ve been listening to each single and getting my kids to listen. As a family, we’ve found great joy in these songs and they are leading the next young generation of music fan to reach forward through Faith and Art. Watch the video below and go purchase/stream this album wherever you get your music.

New singer by the name of “Adelaide” has just released her new single titled “UNFORSAKEN” and it is an uplifting, spiritual awakening set to pop rock music. Adelaide has a strong, commanding voice perfect for this style of music. I know there have been two other artists by the name of “Adelaide” that we have covered since the zine launched in 2005 but this is totally different and quite well done. Recommended for fans of: Evanescence, Fireflight, LEDGER, and Lauren Daigle.

You all need to give this new release from rising indie pop-rock band Oh, Eternity a chance. It’s an insanely awesome album filled with unforgettable melodies, vocals you can sing along with, and just enough “pop” where it’s not too overbearing. So many influences shine through on this release but if you were to make comparisons I’d say imagine a combination of Academy Is.., Plain White Ts, Edison Glass, Hearts Like Lions, My Epic, and Walk the Moon. It’s a diverse set of songs and an album I’m sure that many of you would welcome into your stereos. Check it out here. The band have released this album via New Vine Records.
