It appears like People of Punk Rock Records will be dusting off that epic Dogwood punk classic “Matt Aragon” for a whole new generation of to enjoy. The album that brought tears to the eyes with the track “Do or Die” will finally be getting the vinyl treatment. This album has always held a special spot in my heart since it’s first initial release back during a turbulent time in our country’s history of September 2001 when it originally released. Check out this beautiful and sentimental new music video from Santa Cruz, CA. based pop-punk band – Too Bad Eugene. The track is “Astronomical” and features frontman Adam Nigh’s daughter Mercy Nigh. It’s a sweet video and done well, showing the connection between father and daughter much like the song itself. Craig’s Brother release yet another new song off their upcoming album which drops November 11th. The song is titled “Rodeo Clown” and is a passionate ballad of sorts, similar to a couple tracks off the classic album “Lost at Sea” and “The Aaronic Blessing (Peace on Earth)” from The Insidious Lie. This is a powerful song, one that builds on emotion and connects on a very real human level. It is classic Craig’s Brother and yet modern enough to take them out of 90’s era.… Continued →

Craig’s Brother just released one of their strongest songs since “Follow Your Heart”. This one is my favorite of the new stuff alongside Terrible Slave of course. It has that classic CB feel and adds a certain metallic guitar moment (even a solo), mid-way through the song. The music just flows so well and lyrically is as sharp as ever. Like their (mostly) unreleased song “Crutch”, there is a slight curse word which might turn off the grandparents, but it is fairly mild, just some excrement tossed around 😉 Check out “Superhero” below.… Continued →

I’ve been waiting for this for over 20 years. The classic Too Bad Eugene album, “At Any Rate”, is getting the vinyl treatment by People of Punk Rock Records.
