Skillet - Surviving The Game (Brand New Song and Music Video)

Skillet, have just released their brand new song titled “Surviving The Game” and there is a music video to accompany the track (check it out below). This song continues in that same current Skillet sound tradition and their sound is complimented by high end production as well as musicianship. I really think Jen’s background vocals give this track an extra layer of oomf that further compliments their already classic, rock sound. I Still Believe First Look Teaser Trailer

As you may have heard, they are making a film based on the life of Jeremy Camp called “I Still Believe“. The first look teaser has just been released via Facebook (not on YouTube yet) and you can view it below. While it doesn’t appear Jeremy Camp has gone metal just yet this film does look/sound intriguing and it’s remarkable to see Hollywood taking a gamble on films about Christian artists without compromising the Gospel message. Switchfoot Return With Powerful, Artistic Take on Modern Metal

Switchfoot have gracefully returned from their years long slumber to reemerge as a metal band. Check out this first single titled “Project 11” which does sound eerily familiar but not sure quite how. This is the “heaviest” the band has ever sounded. Those of you that were secretly wishing for a Jeremy Camp metal project can settle for second best and get a sweet Switchfoot one instead.
