Well, we have reached that year end event, the time in which Indie Vision Music posts their “Best of Lists” for the world to see. 2024 was a tumultuous year and one filled with plenty of heartbreak and tragedy for myself of which I am still recovering from in the form of grief and trauma. As much as there were lows (I’m talking low lows), there were some definite highs and highlights I might say in the form of music. A lot of the music I listened to was in the past, I mean after all, Spotify labeled me a “Time Traveler” this year, lol? However, there was plenty of great music that released in 2023 that of which got the blood pumping and adrenaline rushing, even some songs more on the “chill” side that could cause one to contemplate the deepest complexities of life (and what that next meal will be). I dug this old VHS tape out of the deepest cavern of Pre-Indie Vision Music archives that I could search through. This old tape was converted to digital (Digitized) by a company called imemories out of Arizona. I love their services and they’ve done a tremendous job so far. Anyway, check out this really old concert footage of the bands Unashamed and Strongarm from 1995 at a Church in Capo Beach California (Dana Point) called “Capo Beach Calvary Chapel”. Dawning Of The Age of Modern Elitism (and it's many annoyances) Reading the cesspool of comments online whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, or heck even old school “www” websites (remember those?), one is left with a dilemma….do I bite my tongue or join in with the crazy circus monkeys? Hopefully not the latter, am I right?......

A lot of stuff from that year was enjoyed by me, some I am rediscovering, and others were missed opportunities. I have added a bunch of band tshirts, new band specific lots from artists like Dogwood, Forever Changed, Dashboard Confessional, Juliana Theory, Further Seems Forever, and so many more being added each day. There are quite a few “classics” to be found including sealed copies of Sagoh 24/7 first two (and only) releases (band featured members that went on to form Anberlin). Check the auctions out right here. I decided to bypass selling privately and put some stuff on Ebay. It’s easier this way and the best way to maximize earnings to hopefully put towards some IVM related activities in 2017/2018.… Continued →

I wrote this piece for my Grandfather’s funeral that took place on Friday. In case you didn’t know, my grandfather went into the hospital about 3 weeks ago because of a collapsed lung from a biopsy procedure the week before. They went in to remove the cancerous tumor a few days later and discovered that the cancer had already spread throughout his body. The family decided to let him come home with hospice care and live out his final days. His health deteriorated quite quick and he passed away on August 15th at his home.… Continued →

I need to be clear about something. Neither myself, the graphic artists (Benaiah Clothing), or any staff member at IVM are into Illuminati, Free Masonry, or any other “Occult” type organization. The “new” logo was simply chosen because I thought it looked cool and I dug the colors/design. There is no deep hidden meaning behind the lightning bolt eye other than it representing our “Vision” (Indie VISION Music). I’ve been hearing some complaints and/or confusion relating to our new logo. It is NOT the all seeing eye or anything silly like that.… Continued →

Today’s blog is mostly about those long forgotten “Classics”, the bands and/or albums that have been largely overlooked by a new generation (and those that follow). I made a post about this on my facebook page and I figured i’d elaborate on the subject here.
