Josh Wilson has crafted a worthy follow-up to last year’s debut. With the exception of “Sing,” his songs continue to rise to the top of the CCM genre, both musically and lyrically.

As my final review for the end of a decade I’ll revisit a missed worship album that deserves attention. The Access released their debut in 2008 and they are worth checking out if you are a fan of other worship bands like Casting Crowns and Leeland. The Access do their part in making music that stands out from their contemporaries.
Take It Back! are back for their second release on Facedown Records! Atrocities was released on November 10th if you haven’t already picked it up and are a fan of punk/hardcore.
Frank Schweikhardt fits perfectly on the XRA roster, bringing a slow and minimalist acoustic sound that melds perfectly with his soft baritone. It’s like a stripped down Iron & Wine and a solo Husband&Wife mixed with a non-Cynical David Bazan.
Do you enjoy pop music? Do you like pianos? If the answer is ‘yes’ you probably already have Seabird’s debut and now they’ve come back at the end of a decade for their sophomore release, Rocks Into Rivers. Some of the best material they’ve written is here so be sure to check it out.
