Steadfast Records Resurfaces, Original ZAO Releases Get Re-Released

Steadfast Records has returned and with that comeback is the announcement that the first 2 releases by ZAO (before they signed with Solid State) have been re-released. That’s right kiddos, get “All Else Failed” (original version), and the ZAO/Outcast “Split” on all digital networks. Listen on Spotify below. Steadfast Records was the work of Matt Traxler, a member of legendary groups like Six Feet Deep, and Brandtson before those amazing bands broke up. My hope is for a Brandtson reunion. Can’t wait for the “Radiowaves and Other Gibberish” Compilation to get the re-release treatment Continued →

Is There a Secret MxPx Vinyl in the Works?

Hey look who’s On the Cover of IVM! Is there a Secret Weapon of vinyl proportions in the works? Is it enough to give us a Panic, maybe get us up to that Ever Passing Moment? I certainly hope these guys aren’t Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo because we could all use a heavy dose of a Punk Rawk Show in our lives. Now I certainly Heard That Sound and am assured that this is a Plan Within Plans and that Tomorrow is Another Day.… Continued →

A Hope for Home - Here, The End

Throwback Review 7: A Hope for Home - Here, The End

It has been years since A Hope for Home served us an album. I remember when “In Abstraction” dropped my freshman year of college. I got the email my preorder had shipped and it was the highlight of the week. Of course, that’s quickly approaching six years ago now. I’ve had plenty of time to listen to their discography and have actually found it to be their weakest album; on the same token, “Realis” is quite possibly one of my favorite albums ever and “The Everlasting Man”, despite its stylistic consistency, is also a pretty great album.… Continued →
