Braille Will Release First New "Solo" Album in 12 Years

By in News | No Comments

Independent hip-hop/rap artist, Braille, who is also a founding member of Beautiful Eulogy and a Pastor, will be releasing his first “solo” album in 12 years. This is also the first album since the last Beautiful Eulogy release 6 years ago. He is posting updates and music via the Patreon platform over the next few months and the full album in May 2024. Who’s excited for this new project?

It’s been 12 years since my last solo album dropped. It’s been 6 years since the last Beautiful Eulogy album. As I transitioned to full-time pastoral ministry – it took time to settle into this new season of life. I didn’t have the time, energy, or inspiration to develop an updated sound that resonated with me. My musical output became marginal, and I thought I was done with music (which I was okay with).

I took a sabbatical this summer, and it felt like God gave me back the joy of creating music. I’m about 70% done with a new solo album, and I really enjoy how it’s turning out! The first single is getting mastered this week (the release date will be announced soon). Because I’ve been out of the mix for a while, I plan to release 6 songs over the next 8 months, followed by the album in May.

While finishing the album, I will post weekly updates to my Patreon every Monday. I will also post exclusive behind-the-scenes content and giveaways on the first Friday of every month. All the support I receive from Patreon will go directly to the expenses of finishing the album, mostly paying for guest musicians and mastering. Whether or not you can support me via Patreon, I look forward to sharing this new music with you. Thanks for reading.
