Luke Caldwell of Esterlyn Stars in New HGTV Show, "Boise Boys"

I’d like to take a moment and bring attention to a new show on HGTV called “Boise Boys” featuring Luke Caldwell (and his family) a name you might recognize as he led the band Esterlyn for more than a decade. He is now a part of this show along with his work partner, Clint Robertson. You can find out more info on their website here and hopefully HGTV will pick up the new show as a series regular soon. Ruslan Responds to Shai Linne

Last Friday, Shai Linne released his new album Still Jesus, which kicks off with the track “Random Thoughts 3.” The song addresses, in part, some of Shai’s concerns with Christian hip-hop, especially from the Reach Records collective. Ruslan, formerly of theBREAX and Dream Junkies, has made a response song entitled “Random Thoughts 4 (Shai Linne).” You can stream both of the songs below. The Best of 2007: Favorite Hits From 10 Years Ago

Hey friends it’s that time again, time for another “list”. Feel free to offer up your big Laugh-Out-Louds and smirks for some “hits” I found appealing 10 years ago. A lot of stuff from that year was enjoyed by me, some I am rediscovering, and others were missed opportunities. Check out my “list” below and feel free to listen to the playlist I created on Spotify for this list found in the article. Remember kids, “some” of these releases may not have the best language so if you get queasy at the thought of dirty words from general market (do we still use the word ‘secular’?)… Continued →

Times of Grace start Recording for Sophomore album

Times of Grace, the metalcore side project of Killswitch Engage, have begun working on their sophomore album. Jesse Leach, the vocalist of the project, has begun demoing vocals out for their next endeavor. Many people thought of Killswitch Engage as a Christian act, which it is not, but if fans of that band are looking for a more faith centered project, Times of Grace is your band. Go check out “Strength In Numbers” and the rest of the previous album, released through Roadrunner Records. https://www.instagram.com/p/BWs1HoTADAQ/… Continued →

Love & Death recording for New Album

Love & Death, the nu-metal band, have finally started working on new music. And just as I discovered that J.R. Bareis has left Islander, alongside the other two non-original members of Islander, they have begun guitar tracking with ex-Red, current Breaking Benjamin guitarist Jasen Rauch. The band currently consists of Brian Welch on vocals, J.R. on guitars and Dan Johnson on drums. Bassist Michael Valentine departed last year, without any official reason. Bareis and Rauch have begun recording guitars for the album.

The O.C. Supertones Live Vol. 2 and Video

The O.C. Supertones are finishing up work on their final Live recording which will be called simply, “Live Vol. 2”. It was recorded and filmed at their final show on June 3rd 2017. There is also going to be a film to go along with it. It was a great show and a wonderful farewell to a band whose ministry has touched many across the globe. Introducing: LOWERCASE committee

I want to encourage all of you to check out this new laid back indie rock/pop band called LOWERCASE committee. They are from Las Vegas, feature 3 brothers (and their friend on Drums), and would please fans of Walk The Moon, Two Door Cinema Club, Foster the People, and Coldplay. I’m loving their new song titled “I Know” that you can see the lyric video for below. The band was formerly known as Three Cord.
