Here’s a brief explanation of what it’s about from the band’s vocalist, Matt Evans: ” “The Laws That Guide My Feet” is kind of an anthem for people who feel lost and out of place. However, lyrically, it’s also a lot more than that. It transitions between various perspectives to illustrate a bigger picture. The band is celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Life in General” in which they re-recorded and re-released the album a few months back for free. The band does not seem to have a permanent official lineup, but consistently includes John Elefante (Kansas), John Schlitt (Petra), and Jay Sekulow (Jay Sekulow Live!). The song is based off of Sekulow's new book of the same name that was released earlier this month.
