Fighting Jacks, a band who’ve been together since year 2000, released an album on Tooth & Nail Records and have weathered the storms of industry instability are back with a new single and an album titled “Decade” on the way. I am seriously considering selling off my CD collection. I am interested in selling in bulk and not by individual one by one CDs. Groups of 25 CDs or more would be preferable. I have a lot more indie titles and other CDs that didn’t scan in through my app I use. I will add those titles at a later date. I have no more PS3 Games and the Vinyl is not for sale. These “Vinyl” were all scanned in over a year ago and I have collected quite a bit more in that timeframe plus some didn’t scan in for whatever reason.… Continued →

Sad news to report to you today. The quickly rising numetal/rock band Mayfly, have unfortunately called it quits. This was a band on the rise and had so much potential but I guess sometimes good stories have to meet their end. Punk Never Dies, no really it doesn’t. We are led to believe that the flavor of the month is heavy metalcore/djent/hardcore/etc. and we know every little “Christian” label is pushing that stuff. I do love a lot of those bands but my passion has always been on the punk rock side of things. I never understand why the punk purists were so slow to embrace the poppier side and how come no independent (or major) labels have signed bands like this in the past decade.… Continued →

Today is the release of Jimmy Sisco’s contribution to the 3 Song Acoustic EP series. As the singer/guitarist/songwriter for ABSOLVED and Platoon 1107, Jimmy has released some of the biggest, most aggressive music on Thumper Punk Records. For his 3 Song Acoustic EP, the music is delicate, balanced and soulful, with one track of 70s era folk and two readings of Old Testament scripture over ambient backgrounds.
