Seeker and Servant Release New Ep

Seeker and Servant are back with a new 4 song Ep that takes on a unique and fresh approach to “worship”. I have loved this band for quite a few years and each new release is like a step into a bright, new beautiful world. This is a group without gimmicks, no hidden agendas other than sharing the beauty of the Gospel message and putting music to hope that we all need. I highly recommend the “Leaving Shadowland” Ep which you can check out below or download on bandcamp here.… Continued →

Unspoken - Reason (Official Music Video)

The band UNSPOKEN are back with a new album titled “Reason” which will see release on June 21st. The band just released this great new music video that looks as professional as you can get in the realm of music videos and presents a really cool concept. Check out the music video below. One of the producers on the project (and a great graphic artist) is none other than Joshua Wurzelbacher who you might remember as the lead vocalist for IVM band, Josiah. He has been doing graphic design for many years and has worked for some big companies doing art for artists like NF, Social Club Misfits, Colton Dixson and more.… Continued →

I Still Believe First Look Teaser Trailer

As you may have heard, they are making a film based on the life of Jeremy Camp called “I Still Believe“. The first look teaser has just been released via Facebook (not on YouTube yet) and you can view it below. While it doesn’t appear Jeremy Camp has gone metal just yet this film does look/sound intriguing and it’s remarkable to see Hollywood taking a gamble on films about Christian artists without compromising the Gospel message. Let’s hope this is a film worthy of all the hype.… Continued →

Song of the Day: Stavesacre - Gold & Silver

I’m starting a new feature here at IVM that’ll focus on a beautiful, important, and defining song for a particular band. Let’s start this feature off right and put the focus on the music of Stavesacre, particularly the song “Gold & Silver”. I remember 20 years ago hearing this album (Speakeasy) which had this almost “ballad” like track named “Gold & Silver” then being struck in the heart heavily by it’s somber melodies, inspired lyrical delivery, and that unmistakable voice of Mark Salomon. This is beyond just a typical ballad you’d hear in a grocery store, shopping mall, etc.… Continued →

Introducing: When Forever Ends

Today’s introduction is for the underground technical/progressive metal band – When Forever Ends. The band comes recommended by a friend so I gave this song “Breach The Borders” a solid listen and was pleasantly surprised with the production & technicality of it all. This band pulls all the best elements from bands like August Burns Red, Impending Doom, For Today, Oh Sleeper, and AILD into one amazing blend that will keep listeners on their toes.
