The guys in this band contacted me to share their new music. At first I was a little hesitant probably due to the name itself but then I listened and was instantly blown away. Strange Her are an explosive indie rock band that would please fans of As Cities Burn, House of Heroes, Emery, The Classic Crime, Anberlin and maybe even a little Silversun Pickups and Funeral for a Friend. Super pumped to unveil the brand new single from Sacramento, CA. based pop-punk band – Light The Way. This song is titled “HOPE” It is just that, a hopeful reminder of God’s enduring love for us no matter how much we fail or feel defeated, that God will be there with open arms to love us completely. As you may have heard, they are making a film based on the life of Jeremy Camp called “I Still Believe“. The first look teaser has just been released via Facebook (not on YouTube yet) and you can view it below. While it doesn’t appear Jeremy Camp has gone metal just yet this film does look/sound intriguing and it’s remarkable to see Hollywood taking a gamble on films about Christian artists without compromising the Gospel message.
