Well, Furnace Fest 2023 just wrapped and has come to a close. Although I wasn’t able to attend myself in person, I was able to check out some live performances online that looked killer. I see that Drain was a highlight for a lot of you as was sets from Turnstile, MxPx, Chasing Victory, ZAO, Living Sacrifice, Ghoti Hook, The Insyderz, Terror, Bane, and many more. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this new Wolves At The Gate covers album titled “Lost In Translation” but I sure do. It’s really done with the best production and sound you can get. Their take on many of these classic songs is nothing short of extraordinary. I’d go as far to say that some of these songs have been reinvented with a new fervor courtesy of Wolves At The Gate. I was expecting the Jimmy Eat World cover for “Sweetness” to pale in comparison to the real thing but surprisingly it’s the complete opposite and same goes for “The Pretender”, “Pardon Me”, “Heathens”, and “Breaking the Habit”.… Continued →
