Introducing: Bright and Harrowing

A new band has just burst on to the scene. I got word of this on social media today and thought I’d share. Scott Hunter (Poor Old Lu singer), Jesse Sprinkle (Poor Old Lu/Demon Hunter/Dead Poetic and tons others), Kurt Schmidt, and Anthony Carvalho have all teamed up under the name “Bright and Harrowing“. Beloved (US) Make Triumphant Return at the 2020 Edition of Furnace Fest

First of all, Furnace Fest will make a return in 2020 with an as yet to be determined/announced lineup….except in the case of BELOVED. Yep, the highly underrated Solid State Records band who released an Ep and Full length on Solid State Records (plus some other indie recordings pre-Solid State) before calling it quits with a few members joining other bands like Advent and The Almost (among others), IS BACK and ready to rock your faces off. Names Without Numbers - Style (Taylor Swift Cover)

This launched yesterday and IVM is a day late in posting (I blame my turkey hangover). Names Without Numbers and Indie Vision Music have just released the band’s new single “Style” which is a Taylor Swift cover and done extremely well. The song will appear on the band’s upcoming full length “Silos & Smokestacks” due out December 13th. The song is available now on all digital networks.
