I’d like to introduce HeavyMind to all of you. It’s a kickback indie pop type duo featuring Teddy Boldt (Teddy At Night) and Mark Campbell. They released a debut song titled “Hold Me” on all digital networks back at the end of May and I guess I somehow missed posting about it. To me at least it sounds like mixing up The Weeknd, Chris Isaac, NYVES, TwentyOnePilots, Cool Hand Luke, and Gotye. I also found this old concert footage of the band Pennylane performing at Kauai Christian Fellowship in Poipu, Kauai in the great state of Hawaii. This is also a short segment and I believe my camera died which is why I didn’t film it all or something (memory is foggy). Synth, 80’s inspired pop-rock artist known as Teddy At Night, will return this year with his first official full length. He is currently working on LP1 with a recent behind the scenes studio shot. Teddy is a drummer by trade and has worked with bands like Family Force 5, Wavorly, and more recently with for KING & COUNTRY. He sings, writes the music, and plays on the Teddy at Night music making a concoction that can only be described as hypnotizing. Addison Road is a pop/rock Texan band that had a 10 year span of releases. I was drawn to their singer’s (Jenny Chisholm) vocals that stood out among many female fronted bands. The rockier flair is not present though on today’s SOTD which is the last track to their 2008 S/T release. This is in my top 20 worship songs of all time. Check out these worshipful lyrics.
